June is just around the corner! Along with the warmth of summer June brings loads of local events to attend. There is never a lack of fun here along the Emerald Coast! June is a great time to socialize, enjoy good food, drink, and entertainment all month long. Check out some of the events happening along the Emerald Coast and plan a visit. Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam

Distillery 98 Paddle Boil: Paddle Boasrd Race + Sip & Shop
When: June 3rd-4th
Where: Various Locations
Description: Join Distillery 98 for the 3rd Annual Paddle Boil on June 3rd & 4th. Summer by the Half Shell festivities begin on Saturday, June 3rd with a morning paddle board race in Grayton Beach on Western Lake followed by a Sip & Shop. The party continues on Sunday, June 4th with their infamous Crawfish Boil & Distillery Party. 
Saturday, June 3rd | Summer by the Half Shell Event 
9AM - 11AM: Paddle Race at Grayton Boat Ramp 
11AM - 4PM: Sip & Shop at Tribe Kelly Surf Company special launch party to celebrate “the best bottle for the beach,” Half Shell Vodka. Everyone is welcome to come sip, shop, and hang out, but you must be 21+ to drink. 
Sunday, June 4th | Crawfish Boil & Distillery Party 
11AM - 4PM: Crawfish and Oysters 
1PM - 3PM: LIVE MUSIC with Boukou Groove 
Tickets for the Sunday event will go on sale May 23rd and be available for purchase at the distillery.
Walton Area Chamber of Commerce Spring Golf Classic
When: June 9th
Where: Blackstone Golf Course
Description: Join the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce on Friday, June 9th for their Annual Spring Classic at Blackstone Golf Course in DeFuniak Springs. Breakfast and registration begins at 8AM and a shotgun start will kick off the tournament at 9AM.

Fore! The Love of Animals Golf Tournament
When: June 10th
Where: The Links Golf Club | Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort
Description: Calling all animal lovers and golf enthusiasts! Alaqua Animal Refuge will host the Second Annual “FORE! The Love of Animals” Golf Tournament to be held Saturday, June 10 at The Links Golf Club at Sandestin in Miramar Beach, FL. 
The Tournament features an 8:30 a.m. check-in with a 10 a.m. shotgun start, scamble format; breakfast by Chick-fil-A and a Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar; 18 holes of golf with a cart; boxed lunch; two drink tickets; and a fun after-party. 
Presented by Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort as the Top Dog Title Sponsor, the Tournament welcomes teams of four plus individuals. Registration is $250 per golfer or $850 per foursome. Registration opens Wednesday, April 5 and can be found online at Alaqua.org. 
The Tournament will wrap up with a “Yappy Hour” Awards Celebration to be held at the Sunset Bay Café in Sandestin for all participants and sponsors, and will feature an array of hors d’oeuvres, beer, and wine. The event will also have multiple raffles and live music. Awards will be given for first, second, and third teams, closest to the hole, and closest to the snake! 
FORE! The Love of Animals benefits Alaqua Animal Refuge and will provide crucial funding for its daily operations in supporting their mission to provide shelter, safety, and second chances to all kinds of animals. To learn more, visit Alaqua.org.

21st Annual Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic
When: June 21st-25th
Where: Baytowne Marina
Description:  The 21st annual Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic takes place June 21 - 25, 2023. Timed to coincide with the peak of the Gulf Coast’s blue marlin season, and located at the South’s number-one ranked resort destination, the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort sets the new precedent for world-class sportfishing tournaments. 
This annual event offers something for everyone. Most importantly, for the angling teams, there’s the deep blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, red-hot billfish action, and cool green cash. While on-shore, both the teams and their families can enjoy the wide variety of recreational activities offered at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and The Village of Baytowne Wharf. The spectacular night time weigh-ins are held at the Baytowne Marina at Sandestin and are open to the public.

Start of Tournament Fishing. Watch from the Destin Pass Bridge; boats will leave the marina around 11:00AM. 
Friday, June 23rd | 4:00PM - 9:00PM
