November is coming! It's a beautiful time of year here – the crisp and cool fall air becomes more frequent, sunsets are stunning, and the local events are spectacular. Check out some of the local happenings and plan a visit. If you're lucky enough to be local – enjoy them all!

5th Annual Harvest Wine & Food Festival
When: November 4-7th

Description: Welcome to 5th Annual Harvest Wine and Food Festival weekend in WaterColor, Florida. Saturday afternoon's Grand Tasting takes place in Cerulean Park from 1-4pm. Produced by Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF), Harvest Wine & Food Festival provides patrons the opportunity to sip and savor some of the world’s finest wine and culinary selections while enjoying the iconic beach town of WaterColor. Harvest Wine & Food Festival will feature some of the world’s premier vintners, proprietors, and award-winning chefs showcased throughout four eventful days that are sure to delight food and wine enthusiasts alike. Description: The 25th South Walton Celebrity Golf Classic will take place on November 4-6, 2021 at the Baytowne and Raven Golf courses located at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort and the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa in beautiful South Walton, Florida. Panama City Songwriters Festival
When: November 5-6th
WhereDowntown Panama City
Description: The Panama City Songwriters Festival is set to take place November 5-6 in the Panhandle, featuring original songs by local, regional and national musicians. Historic Downtown Panama City’s most notable art galleries and performance spaces will transform into intimate music venues for this one-of-a-kind festival. Free event, but donations are encouraged at the door. Proceeds will be going to the Bay Youth Music Association. BYMA is a non-profit organization that helps the youth in our community through music. WherePensacola Beach
Description: The NAS Pensacola Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show will be held on November 5-6, 2021, when the Blue Angels close out the season at Pensacola Beach. ​In addition to the Blue Angels, there will be a handful of aerobatic and stunt pilots performing as well. However, specific pilots, details, and times are still being confirmed. General admission to the air show is free, and guests are welcome to bring their own portable lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the show. Mountainfilm on Tour
When: November 5-6th
Where: WaterColor Marina Park
Description: Mountainfilm on Tour returns to WaterColor Marina Park Amphitheater on November 5 -6, 2021. Gates open at 5:45 PM. Films begin at 7 PM. Tickets and Information HERE. Celebrating its 21st year, this outdoor film festival is dedicated to educating, inspiring, and motivating audiences about issues that matter. Each year, a selection of films from the annual festival in Telluride, Colorado is taken on the road to reach audiences who otherwise would not have a chance to experience the festival. The films selected for the show will explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission of using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. Mountainfilm on Tour at WaterColor is a rain or shine event. Ticket purchases are non-refundable. 
 
 

 
 
Ironman Florida
WhenNovember 6th
WherePier Park, Panama City Beach
Description: One of the most storied North American races, Ironman Florida is set to take place in Panama City Beach on Saturday, Nov. 6. Beginning at 6AM, participants will start the grueling race consisting of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bicycle ride and a 26.22 marathon run, raced in that order. The swim portion of the race begins at the Russell-Fields Pier across from Pier Park. The run sends participants through local neighborhoods and the beautifully shaded St. Andrew's State Park, culminating where it all began at Pier Park.

Veteran's Day Celebration on the Harbor 
When: November 11th

Description: Join Harborwalk Village as they host a Veteran's Day Celebration along the Destin Harbor on Thursday, November 11 from 4-7:30PM. The ceremony will include historical remembrance and recognition of all branches of the services, patriotic entertainment, and special keynote speakers.

Come out to HarborWalk Village along the Destin Harbor where restaurants, activities and entertainment live year-round. With so many things to do on the harbor, you'll find waterfront shopping, paddle board and kayak rentals, pontoon and jet ski rentals, parasailing, glass-bottom boats, world-class fishing, pirate ship excursions, dolphin cruises, concerts and live music, weekly fireworks, weekly Fat Tuesday parades, live entertainment, and an array of restaurants.

WhereAaron Bessant Park
Description: Twice a year, Aaron Bessant Park becomes a giant outdoor showroom for thousands of hot rods, classic cars and speedsters for this three-day event! While your family weaves through dozens of rows of iconic vehicles, keep your ears alert for cash and swag giveaways. Collectors and enthusiasts drive home a vintage vehicle if they prevail in the frantic bidding at a live auction. Visitors won’t want to miss out on the numerous live bands, meet and greets and presentation shows! Activities at Emerald Coast Cruizin' include cruise-ins, concerts, parties, vendors, food, parades and celebrity appearances. Car enthusiasts of all ages are welcome to check out the thousands of hot rods, customs, muscle cars, trucks and classics on display.
 
 
 
 
 
Flutterby Arts Festival
When: November 14th

Description: The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County is calling all kids to flitter to Watersound Origins to celebrate 28 years of the Flutterby Arts Festival. This year’s event takes place Sunday, November 14, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on the green located directly behind Watersound Origins Café. Produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County, 
 
The Flutterby Festival is an event filled with arts, nature, science and fun in celebration of the migration of the Monarch butterfly through South Walton. The festival will feature live entertainment for the entire family, including music, theatre, and dance. Art activities like the butterfly wing creation station, craft-making, henna tattoos, and face painting will be available. Professional artists will be exhibiting and selling their work throughout the weekend. 
 
Admission to the festival is free and open to the public. Some activities within the festival require tickets, which can be purchased on-site. PCB Food Truck Fest

Description: Orange Beach Breeze is bringing the Food Truck Fest to Panama City Beach at Aaron Bessant Park on Sunday, November 14th from 11 A.M. to 8 P.M. The fest will feature multiple food trucks from in and around the panhandle. Attendees will also enjoy vendors exhibiting and selling gifts, crafts, jewelry, personal care products and much more! Half Shells on the Harbor

Description: Half Shells on the Harbor is coming to the Destin Harbor Sunday, November 14 beginning at 2PM. This Tide to Table event features fresh oyster tastings as local chefs come together to showcase their spin on this coastal classic. Moonlight Paddle
When: November 19th
WhereCamp Helen State Park
Description: Come and join Park Rangers at Camp Helen State Park for a moonlight paddle on Lake Powell, Florida’s largest coastal dune lake on Friday, November 19th at 4:30PM. The experience will be a mostly quiet excursion led by Rangers and will give visitors a unique opportunity to view one of the rarest lakes in the world, while under a nearly full moon. The trip is approximately two hours and will begin with a brief safety review and interpretation on Lake Powell and why coastal dune lakes are such a rare natural phenomenon. 
 
Participants must be experienced paddlers and 12 years of age or older. Program is $30 per person, cash only. Fee includes watercraft rental, life jacket, paddle, glow sticks, park admission fee, and a donation to the Friends of Camp Helen State Park. Watercraft and gear from outside the park are not permitted. Space is limited. Advanced reservations are required to participate and can be done by calling Camp Helen State Park at (850) 233-5059. Summer Haze Music Festival - Winter Edition

Description: Southern Sound Music Alliance presents the Summer Haze Music Festival - Winter Edition on November 20th in Gulf Place! This music festival will feature several of your favorite bands, food trucks, and art vendors. Part of the proceeds will benefit Cultural Arts Alliance and Food For Thought.

Sparkling Wine & Holiday Lights

Description: Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort invites you to kick off the holiday season with the Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights event on Saturday, November 20th from 4-6 pm in the Village of Baytowne Wharf. This event benefits Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center. Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights will take place on the beautifully decorated streets of Baytowne Wharf and feature more than 30 champagnes and delicious appetizers at featured Village restaurants. Guests can enjoy the sounds of the season with carolers, and a sneak peek of our first tree lighting of the season!

Rosemary Beach Unleashed

Description: Join two and four-legged friends for the annual Rosemary Beach Unleashed pet festival on Sunday, November 21 from 2 – 4pm on St. Augustine Green in Rosemary Beach. You and your pet are encouraged to come in costume or theme attire (only vaccinated pooches, please!). Events will include: Pet Parade, Dog Contests, Music, Silent Auction and more. Your dog can be featured in print on a Rosemary Beach Unleashed event poster! You will receive a poster to keep!
