It's a beautiful time of year – the crisp and cool fall air becomes more frequent, sunsets are stunning as the sun appears to dip below the water, and the local events are fun and festive. Panama City Songwriters Festival

When: November 3rd-5th

Where: Center for the Arts

Description: Downtown Panama City, Florida will be home to the area’s 4th Annual Songwriter Festival, November 3-5, 2022. Featuring original songs by local, regional and national musicians, Historic Downtown Panama City’s most notable art galleries and performance spaces will transform into intimate music venues for this one-of-a kind festival.

Boardwalk Country Music Beach Festival

When: November 4th-5th

Where: The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island

Description: The inaugural Boardwalk Country Music Beach Festival will take place on November 4-5, 2022. Six national and regional country music acts will hit the stage starting Friday afternoon. The shows then resume Saturday with performances all day long. Admission to the family-friendly event is free.

Mountainfilm on Tour

When: November 4th-5th

Where: WaterColor Marina Park

Description: Celebrating its 22nd year, this outdoor film festival is dedicated to educating, inspiring, and motivating audiences about issues that matter. Each year, a selection of films from the annual festival in Telluride, Colorado is taken on the road to reach audiences who otherwise would not have a chance to experience the festival. The films selected for the show will explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission of using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. Ironman Florida

When: November 5th

Where: Pier Park

Description: One of the most storied North American races, IRONMAN Florida is set to take place in Panama City Beach on Saturday, Nov. 5. Beginning at 6AM, participants will start the grueling race consisting of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bicycle ride and a 26.22 marathon run, raced in that order.

The swim portion of the race begins at the Russell-Fields Pier across from Pier Park. The run sends participants through local neighborhoods and the beautifully shaded St. Andrew's State Park, culminating where it all began at Pier Park.

Rosemary Beach Uncorked

Harbor Docks Take a Kid Fishing Day

When: November 6th

Where: Harbor Docks

Description: Harbor Docks Charities invites all interested junior anglers between the ages of 7 to 13yrs to their annual Take A Kid Fishing Day on Saturday, November 5th. To register, call our office at 850.837.2506 and ask for Jackie Tway or visit harbordocks.com/take-a-kid-fishing-day/.

Some 300 children will be treated to a day of fishing on the Gulf of Mexico or Choctawhatchee Bay. Each child - and their chaperones - are served breakfast before boarding one of Destin's finest charter boats for a morning of fishing. Emerald Coast Cruizin'

When: November 9th-12th

Where: Aaron Bessant Park Amphitheater

Description: The bi-annual Emerald Coast Cruzin’ car show at Aaron Bessant Park is back this fall, November 9-12. Car enthusiasts of all ages are welcome to check out the thousands of hot rods, customs, muscle cars, trucks, and classics on display. Activities at Emerald Coast Cruizin' include cruise-ins, concerts, parties, vendors, food, parades, and celebrity appearances.

While your family weaves through dozens of rows of iconic vehicles, keep your ears alert for cash and swag giveaways. Collectors and enthusiasts drive home a vintage vehicle if they prevail in the frantic bidding at a live auction. 10th Annual Wine Walkabout

When: November 10th

Where: Ruth's Chris Steak House

Description: Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation hosts the annual Wine Walkabout on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 5:30 p.m. The 10th annual installment of this event will again be held in the East Bar and Courtyard at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Destin.

Seeing Red Wine Festival

Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show

When: November 11t-12th

Where: NAS Pensacola

Description: The NAS Pensacola Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show will be held on November 11 & 12, 2022, when the Blue Angels close out the season at Pensacola Naval Air Station.

General admission to the air show is free, and guests are welcome to bring their own portable lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the show. Veteran's Day Celebration on the Harbor

Where: HarborWalk Village

Description: Join Harborwalk Village in honoring Veterans at the Veteran's Day Celebration from 5 - 8PM on Sunday November 11th on the beautiful Destin Harbor. 30th Annual Flutterby Arts Festival

When: November 13th

Where: Watersound Town Center

Description: The Flutterby Festival, produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County, celebrates its 30th year of the migration of the Monarch butterfly through our area with children's art activities, live music, theatre and dance performances, student art exhibits, a butterfly parade and more!

Join us for this free, family-fun event on Sunday, November 13 from 10 AM - 4 PM at The Pavilion at Watersound Town Center. Proceeds benefit the CAA’s ‘Art For All’ Program. Parking, including accessible parking, is available onsite. Admission to the festival is free and open to the public.

Supporting the arts in Walton County’s schools is at the core of Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County's mission. This children's arts event showcases the talent of our local students at the Flutterby Festival, celebrates their artistic expression and creativity, and helps raise funds that will go back into their classrooms through educational grants.

Walton Area Chamber of Commerce Fall Golf Classic

Where: Burnt Pine Golf Club at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort

Description: Join the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce on Friday, November 18th for their Annual Fall Classic at the Burnt Pine Golf Club in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Sign-in begins at 8AM and a shotgun start will kick off the tournament at 9AM. All players in the Fall Golf Classic will enjoy excellent food, beverages and fun on the course. Players and spectators are encouraged to wrap their day up at the 19th Hole Celebration.

Grand Boulevard: Christmas Holiday Lights Kick-Off

When: November 18th

Where: Grand Boulevard Grand Park

Description: Celebrate the season with Grand Boulevard at the Christmas Holiday Lights Kick-Off on Friday, November 18th at 4:30PM. The Grand Boulevard Town Center will be awash in tens of thousands of beautiful white lights, bringing a festive spirit to the Boulevard.

Coastal White Christmas officially begins with a short parade that includes Santa’s arrival! Enjoy complementary photos with Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides, live entertainment and strolling throughout the Boulevard, taking in the breathtaking lights and decorated trees.

Cultural Arts Alliance Pearl Party

When: November 18th

Where: Alys Beach

Description: The Cultural Arts Alliance’s Pearl Party celebrates three decades of programming produced by the CAA. Join fellow art-lovers on Friday, November 18 in beautiful Alys Beach as the CAA commemorates this special occasion honoring their history and toasting to the future!

Tickets are $25 for CAA members and $50 for those who are not yet members. VIP seating for six is available for $500 and includes a reserved table as well as concert seating on the lawn.

Sparkling Wine & Holiday Lights at Baytowne

Where: The Village of Baytowne Wharf

Description: Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort invites you to kick off the holiday season with the Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights event on Saturday, November 19th from 4-6 pm in the Village of Baytowne Wharf. Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights will take place on the beautifully decorated streets of Baytowne Wharf and feature more than 30 champagnes and delicious appetizers at featured Village restaurants. Guests can enjoy the sounds of the season with carolers, and a sneak peek of our first tree lighting of the season!

Rosemary Beach Unleashed

Where: St. Augustine Green at Rosemary Beach

Description: Join two and four-legged friends for the annual Rosemary Beach Unleashed pet festival on Sunday, November 20 from 2 – 4pm on St. Augustine Green in Rosemary Beach. You and your pet are encouraged to come in costume or theme attire (only vaccinated pooches, please!). This annual festival is free and open to the public, and benefits Rosemary Beach Foundation and Alaqua Animal Refuge.

Events will include: Pet Parade, Dog Contests, Music, Silent Auction and more. There is a $5 entry fee per dog to participate in the dog contests. Awards for Best Large Dog, Best Small Dog, Best Costumes, Best Tricks, Look-A-Like, and many others!

Beach Home for the Holidays

Where: Aaron Bessant Amphitheater

Description: Beach Home for the Holidays waves goodbye to fall and sets the stage for the most magical month of the year. Join in the fun at Aaron Bessant Park November 25 & 26 for carol-themed concerts, a Christmas tree-lighting, s'mores, an appearance by Santa and activities for the kids. Live Music then fireworks will be the encore each night.

Old Florida Holiday & Winter Market

When: November 26th

Where: WaterColor Town Center & Cerulean Park

Description: The annual Old Florida Holiday & Winter Market kicks off the season on Saturday, November 26th from 3-9PM in WaterColor’s Town Center and Cerulean Park with the perfect backdrop for a beautiful night. The Old Florida Holiday & Winter Market holiday extravaganza is complete with snow, a horse-drawn carriage, a bonfire with s’mores, pictures with Santa Claus, the lighting of the tree, live music, and beautiful luminary lighting throughout the WaterColor community.

This event is open to WaterColor residents, guests and the public and is free of charge for attendees.

The Winter Market will feature a variety of vendors selling holiday gift ideas of all kinds, including: chocolates, fresh breads, pastries, cider, cookies, nuts, blankets, scarves, hats, candles, ornaments, arts & crafts, jewelry, toys, books, Christmas tree decorations, pottery, mugs and more.
